AREVA T&D increases Distribution Transformer capacity in Poland

The ground breaking ceremony of our new Distribution Transformer unit in Mikolow, Poland was officially held by Marek Balcer, Mikolow’s Mayor and AREVA T&D management on May 15th.
Additional production space and testing facilities will support the growing local and worldwide demand for our products and better serve our customers. This strategic investment will assist us in maintaining our leadership in Poland and increase our presence in Central, Western Europe and Russia.
The project will be completed for start of production by first quarter 2009.
