PIX Compact: compact and cost effective

PIX Compact is the latest product in our Medium Voltage family, mirroring the platform characteristics of the standard PIX version but even more compact, representing a  20 % reduction in width compared with Standard PIX.

The truly compact and cost effective PIX solution • This specific version has been optimized for the lower ratings of the Primary Distribution market - up to 17.5 kV / 31.5 kA / 2,500 A. • Compact dimensions start with a 600 mm wide cubicle for ratings up to 1,250 A. Rated currents of 2,500 A are achieved in a 800 mm width cubicle, for both voltage levels i.e. 12 kV and 17.5 kV. Optimized number of components and electrical connections as well as simplified busbar arrangement and spout moulding characterize PIX Compact. • PIX Compact can be equipped with vacuum circuit-breakers and contactors.

Safety: no compromise • Integrating many of the proven components from the PIX range, it has all the intrinsic features of the standard version: high reliability and quality. • PIX Compact is designed using the latest techniques to ensure that the highest levels of operator safety are always maintained. - Fully tested to all the latest IEC standards - Highest levels of Internal Arc Classification - Rigid cubicle construction and 'rising' door/cover design - Choice of 'arc ducts' or 'arc deflectors' - Intuitive interlocking and clearly visible indicators.
