Please follow these steps to return an Automation product to us. This procedure is applicable for small, easily transportable Automation products, such as Protection and Control, Data Communication equipment and EMS Hardware.
1) Get the Repair/Modification Authorization (RMA) Form.
Use the links below to download the appropriate form.
2) Fill in the RMA Form.
- Fill in the white part of the form only.
- Ensure that all fields marked (M) are completed, such as:
- Model Number
- Serial Number
- Value for Customs Delivery
- Invoice Address
- Contact Person Information
- Description of Failure (please be specific) or modification required
3) Send the RMA form to your local contact.
4) Receive the information required to ship the product.
- Your Local Service Contact will provide you with all this information:
- Pricing details
- RMA Number
- Repair Center Address
- If required, an acceptance of the quote must be delivered before going to next stage.
5) Send the product to the repair center.
- Address the shipment to the Repair Center specified by your Local Contact.
- Ensure all items are protected by appropriate packaging: anti-static bag and foam protection.
- Ensure a copy of the import invoice is attached with the returned unit.
- Ensure a copy of the RMA Form is attached with the returned unit.
- Email or fax a copy of the import invoice and AirwayBill document to your Local Contact.
