Numerical P114S CT powered overcurrent protection is designed to protect transformers, outgoing lines, bus coupling in medium voltage electrical system, where an auxiliary voltage is not available or guaranteed.

P114S is offered with special ring-core CTs (no primary windings) to integrate protective system in the optimum way (cost, space for system). For example application in gas-isolated ring-main panel.

A wide range of MV nominal current: 16A to 896A application
A five ordering version of CT (for nominal current: 16A to 896A) only and no any ordring verison of P114S. It could reduce stock, what is very important especially for panel building companies.

MiCOM P114S simplifies secondary circuits
The trip of CB is made by using capacitance discharge output in P114S connected to low energy CB trip coil. No need to have auxiliary voltage supply.
An external flag indicator is used for remote or local indication that a trip has occurred.

All settings are made by using DIP switches.
