BiTRONICS M870D Detached Display Unit

The M870D provides BiTRONICS Mx7x users the option of a local or remote indication of measured or calculated parameters.

Used alongside AREVA T&D's BiTRONICS Mx7x IEDs, the M870D is a cost-effective and reliable solution for providing an indication of measured or calculated parameters.

Robust, reliable, high definition

The M870D comes in a rugged aluminum 4-inch round case and uses efficient, long-lasting, highly reliable LEDs for display. It provides high-resolution, three-line simultaneous display and five significant digits per line. In addition, pre-set engineering units or customized text is automatically displayed.

Buttons enable scrolling to the desired parameter, or can be set for continuous parameter looping. A DB9 pass-through front port allows direct hook-up to Mx7x IEDs from front of display for easy configuration and file download.

System stability and precision at an affordable price

BiTRONICS M871 enables low-cost entry into monitoring and recording substation automation applications including fault recording. It ensures system stability with six simultaneous recorders and extensive non-volatile memory.

GOOSE cross triggers permit synchronizing records between 70 Series IEDs. Network time synchronization and application software manage the record collection process.
