Comprehensive protection, integrated communication protocols

MiCOM P139’s broad spectrum of protection functions allows users to cover a wide range of applications in the protection of cables and overhead lines, transformers and motors.  The range can be readily adapted to varying conditions in system operations.

Control functions are designed to control up to six electronically operated switchgear units equipped with electrical check-back signals located in the bay of a medium-voltage substation or a non-complex high-voltage station.

MiCOM P139 provides both simple and comprehensive settings as well as access to readings from extensive recordings. Several integrated communication protocols including IEC 61850 provide interfacing to most substation controls or the SCADA system. The range is available in cases for both flush and wall-surface mounting.

One-box protection and control solution

In a one-box format, MiCOM P139 provides cost-effective protection and control. It is equipped with 1A/5A software setting and a vast number of predefined bay types. MiCOM P139 also offers two communication interfaces for SCADA and remote access, and numerous switchable communication protocols for SCADA interfacing.
