Fully integrated, long-distance protection devices

MiCOM P432 and P439’s broad spectrum of protection and control functions allows users to cover a wide range of applications regarding selective short-circuit protection, ground fault protection and overload protection. These two models are appropriate for use in medium, high and extra-high-voltage systems.

Four setting groups enable easy adaptation of the devices to varying conditions in system operations.

Control functions are designed to control up to six (P439) or ten (P432) electrically operated switchgear units equipped with electrical check-back signals. The devices come with over 250 predefined bay types and allow for downloading of any customized bay type.

One-box protection for optimum cost-effectiveness

In a one-box format, MiCOM P432 and P439 provide cost-effective protection and control. They are equipped with 1A/5A software setting and a large number of predefined bay types. The two models also offer two communication interfaces for SCADA and RTU, and numerous switchable communication protocols for SCADA interfacing.
